I would like to be able to start and stop tasks, and easily fill in worklog items through a simplified interface on my mobike device (android, iOS iPad/iPhone) either through an app or a webpage. The current interface is too large, overwhelming and not very iOS Safari/touchscreen friendly. Android Firefox is better, but still not awesome.

Since I'm on the road often, I would like to be able to start a task and when I stop it, fill in the details for the timesheet. Switching should be easy, large buttons please!

Oh, there is a little bug now in the timestamping of entries/modifications of timesheet entries: the date is taken from the selected column, as expected, and the time either as the time of ntry, or set to 0:00 after a modification. Frankly, I don't require the time at all!!! Now this seems to be used for sorting, so modded lines shift to te first lines in the timelog... This could be improved too!

Sorry I did not get the question at first :-) now I do, The worklog part is still in development in the new mobile version and your suggestion seems interesting so we will consider the possibility to add time counters in it.

Have you tried creating a dedicated page in your Teamwork with a simple template (only one column) adding to it only the time counters web part?

Thanks for the feedback, we will check the improvements you suggest and we will see what we can add in the next Teamwork release. Regarding the mobile version we are currently working on it so all your suggestions are highly appreciated. In Teamwork you can add easily worklog when you close an issues, the task, being a more structured entity is supposed to be closed once all the worklog has been inserted (all the related issues are closed) or more in general when the progress is to 100%.

Sylvia,

Thanks for the swift response.

I think I was not clear enough about what my intentions are on my cell phone. Rather than closing tasks and issues, I would like to start and stop the timer on the 'clock'. Like the widget on one of the front pages, I want to start the clock on a particular assignment, and stop it after I finished a portion of the work. When stopped, it should ask me to enter some description, the worklog line.

More in detail: I depart from home, so I start the 'travel' assignment. The clock starts ticking, and on arrival, I stop the clock. In the line I enter the milage, and the destination, so on the invoice specification my customer knows what he is paying for. Then I start the clock on a new assignment, when I start working on location. Again, after some time I stop the clock and add a descriptive line of the work performed.

The real issue is not that the functionality isn't present (it is, through the widget), but merely that is is not tailored for a small (well, HTC Desire HD…) screen. Can I access a 'mobile' page with just one widget present, and no (or a modified) menu line?

With kind regards,

René Knuvers
