We create projects based on a business process. After the project and associated tasks are created, teamwork automatically sends assignment notification to the assignees. You do not get to say if you want or do not want the assignment notification sent. How do you disable this? Is there a way to turn this off? This option is available when you manually create the assignments. Can this be made available in the process too? If not, can we at least have a way to change the default to "don't send".

I agree that the assignment notification is useful. However, with projects created based on a process, the tasks start off as suspended (except for the first one) and will not require attention until they are made active -- which for some tasks, especially those at the end of the process -- may take some time until they are activated. Thus, the assignment notification for those tasks are useless.

Please consider adding the check-box in the process creation -- a check-box for each task in the process -- to ask the user if he wants to send assignment notification to the assignees. Thank you!!

I've tagged your question as "feature request" and we will consider the possibility to add a checkbox to ask for each process step if send or not the assignment notification.

This is not possible because the notification creation is hard coded in Teamwork at the moment. Generally the assignment notification is quite useful but we may consider the possibility to add a check-box in the process creation to ask to the user if he/she wants to send this notification to the assignees.
