I believe you can change the notification messages by editing he message templates via the labels in ADMIN.

Would you please provide the list of available variables that we can use?

What I am after is to find the way to add the task description to the notification sent when a task becomes active (in message template TASK_STATUS_CHANGE_MESSAGE_TEMPLATE_STATUS_ACTIVE).

The task description is included in the assignment notification so I'd think it should be possible to add this also to the task activated notification. What is the task description's variable name, please?

Thanks!

At the moment this operation cannot be done. When a task change status we generate a message that at the moment does not include the task description. We may consider the possibility to add that to a future release (I've marked as feature request), that foe the feedback.
