What are my options for setting the Time Zone in Teamwork ? We wish to sync the Teamwork Agenda with our email client. We are receiving the meeting invitation in the email client but the meeting time is not correct. I note in the Global Settings that I can see ... SERVER_TIME_ZONE=Europe/Berlin How do I change that and what are the valid entries ? Can the time zone only be set on the server or can it also, for example be set by resource ? |

Here you find the list of valid time-zone: http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vc-sdk/visdk400pubs/ReferenceGuide/timezone.html You should change the value in the global.properties file(the one you've already found) and then open the config.properties (TEAMWORK_ROOT/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/ ) and add this row with the same value you add in the global.properties file NON_SERVER_TIME_ZONE=[your values] Then save the files and restart teamwork ( backup your folders and data before this operation). I have made the changes as you suggested but it had no effect on the meeting time in my email client. Is Lotus Notes not aupported because I changed to Outlook and the meeting time came through correctly, even with the original Teamwork time zone settings. With Lotus Notes it comes through as US EDT which happens to be where are Notes servers are located. Unfortunately we are in Sydney, Australia !

If you have your Teamwork server with the correct dates (is Teamwork installed on local server?), the event generated has the dates calculated according to your server time. A proof is that it works correctly in outlook. Maybe lotus notes interprets the ical sent form Teamwork differently from outlook.We will make some research about this. Thanks for your feedback.
