Hi, I am struggling to understand how to create "groups" in tw. I understand that I can create companies, but they do not behave as groups.

What I am trying to achieve: To create a group (company, department) (of users) which will be assigned to a task. Any user from the group can read the that task and create sub tasks.

I have a project HD (helpdesk)I want any user from department CUSTOMERS to be able to read HD task and create new subtasks. I would like to avoid assigning each user to the task HD. It is better to assign company and later just add users to the company. But it does not work?

At the moment there is not the possibility in Teamwork to assign a group. You need to assign all the users that need access to that task. We are thinking about adding this in one of the next release so I've marked your question as feature request. Thank you very much for your feedback.

We release Teamwork quite often but this feature, as I said before, is not planned yet.
