I believe this issue has been raised previously but I can't find any resolution posted ... The URL links contained within Task Overdue email notifications do not work. The URL contains null instead of the server details. You got this because you have not inserted your public server name in the Teamwork administration page. Go to admin -> set domain name and insert your public server name. This should fix the problem. |

Can you please assist with this ? We have a live application and users are receiving emails with links that don't work. If you try restarting Teamwork do you get the same error?

I've tested it deeply and in my installation it seems to work fine. It works even adding your public server name. On which operating system are you running? Silvia, I have just discivered that the problem is intermittent. I will do some more testing to try to narrow down the cause.

We have a clue ... the link is correct in every second email. Task Overdue emails are sent twice a day. The links in the emails sent at 6:22 pm are correct. The links in the emails sent at 6:22 am contain "null/". I can forward you the actual emails if that will assist. Do you may restart your Teamwork instance every night with a job?

Yes, we shutdown the Teamwork instance each night for backups. We use Windows Scheduled Tasks to stop the Teamwork Windows service at 10:15 pm and then start the service at 1:30 am

So, it appears Teamwork needs to be "woken up" before those links will work because emails sent in the morning after restarting Teamwork and before anyone logs in contain malformed URLs but emails sent at the end of the day contain the correct URLs. Also, the problem is only with Task Overdue emails. All other emails contain the correct URL. We have now switched off the morning emails but a resolution to this problem would still be appreciated. With these new details we will make more tests and we will let you know. Thanks for the feedback!
